Background:
This incarnation lived in feudal Japan. His clan had inherited a cursed sword, said to have been forged by Muramasa, a great weapon smith, but with a violent disposition, and a mind verging on madness. This was one of his last blades he had made, and inherited the madness and violence of its maker, causing the wielder to become bloodthirsty, the sword controlling them. It was said that in the wrong hands, the sword could level entire areas, causing mass destruction.  The clan vowed to protect it from the wrong hands, and to try to find a means to destroy the blade, which proved resistant to all their tries to destroy it.

It was passed on from father to son, each one keeping it safe until their own children came of age. Rowyin was born to an Edoehan and Solle Darkwulf. He, like many other boys in the village, was trained to fight since he was able to hold a sword. His father was the current protector of the cursed blade, but was becoming less and less resistant to its influence, and his age was becoming a factor in the blade’s influence. When Rowyin turned 13 his father had no choice but to pass the sword along to the boy, hoping that he would be more resistant to the influence of the sword. This proved to be a mistake, as later that day he blacked out while cleaning the sword. When he awoke his village was burning, every one having been killed. The sword lay next to him, covered in blood and faintly glowing red. He had underestimated the influence of the sword, and for that he lost everything.

He trained himself to resist the sword, finally able to wield it without it taking over his mind. As he grew into manhood the sword found ways to influence his mannerism. He wandered for most of his teenage years, taking bounty and mercenary jobs for those who paid good enough, mainly to stem the swords bloodthirsty tendencies. Along his wanderings he met an old coon, one who taught him a spell to seal the sway of the sword, but only for a short period of time. The coon engraved the swords scabbard with special sigils that would recharge each time the spell was cast.

Along his travels Rowyin faced many foes, most of which ended up bead by his hands. Although one day, after being ambushed by a group of Ninja he discovered that his brother was one of said adversaries. Once they realized who the other was, Rowyin's brother Rion decided to help his brother in his search to find out how to destroy the cursed blade he carried...

Fur color: Black
Hair color: Silver
Eye Color: Sky Blue
Height: 7' 0"
Build: Athletic
Profession: Ob/Gyn
Description: When not working he is usually found wearing blue jeans and a t-shirt. He has a rather laid back personality, but is very protective of his family and friends, often time putting his own life on the line.

Background:

This incarnation was born to Victoria and Jason Darkwulf. Most of his young life he spent playing with his friends. He got through school with great grades, and eventually went to college, studding to be a doctor. During his college years, he met up with Makojin Riff, who he quickly became friends (although most of his pals would say they were more like yiff buddies than normal friends). They lost contact when Makojin found her future husband, Aaron Riff. Soon afterwards Rowyin met a lioness named Emily Polanski. Rowyin went on and became an OB/GYN, and after getting his degree married Emily. They both moved into the city when Rowyin got a job at a maternity ward at the local hospital. Rowyin and Emily's marriage started out fine, but after a while it soon became apparent to them that it wasn't going to last: Rowyin wanted to start a family, but Emily didn't want to have any children. Their marriage was annulled after a year, Emily moving out from the apartment they shared. It was 6 months later when something happened that would change his life.

Rowyin was heading to the bus-stop near his work on a rainy afternoon when he met a young mouse at the stop. He shared his umbrella with her and gave her a smile as they exchanged names, hers having been Mousey. Another fur approached the bench they sat on: a pretty skunk, but from the look of her she had just had a rough time. Her dress was ripped across the front, and she had a broken lip and a swollen eye. This sight saddened Rowyin, and after a bit of probing he figured out what had happened. It was her birthday, and she was out with her boyfriend having a good time. She had found out she was pregnant, purely by accident, and thought that then was a good time to tell her boyfriend. He didn't take the news well, and after she refused to have an abortion he beat her up, but was soon sprayed and bitten by the skunk. She eventually left the restaurant and met up with Mousey and Rowyin. It was a good thing Rowyin was at that bus stop, because as the bus drove on towards the bench, the skunk headed towards it, intent on throwing herself in front of it and ending her life. Rowyin made it to her just in time though, pulling her out from in front of the bus. As she sat crying softly she introduced herself as Sandy. He invited both Mousey and Sandy back to his apartment. This was only the beginning of the new life he started for both the Mouse and the skunk.

Several months after having last seen Makojin, Rowyin and the girls bumped into her while she was doing volunteer work. Rowyin was amazed upon seeing that she too was pregnant, a month ahead of both Sandy and Mousey, and was now a widow due to an accident that Aaron went through. She was back living with her parents, but was jobless, and was going to have to move out because her mother was also expecting. Rowyin, who had both recently proposed to both Mousey and Sandy and bought a house for them couldn't bear to see his college friend have to live off the streets, so with Sandy and Mousey's permission, they invited her to stay at their new place. Makojin eventually fell in love with her new 'family', and vice versa, and at the wishes of Mousey and Sandy, Rowyin proposed to his longtime friend and college lover...
